Butternut Squash Purée

An old classic favourite dish for young and old is Butternut Squash purée. It’s delicious, filling and simple to make.

  • PREPARATION TIME: 15 min
  • COOKING TIME: 13 min
  • INGREDIENT LIST:
    • 1 medium sized butternut pumpkin
    • 1 Teaspoon Butter
  • AGE: 4 to 6 months

RECIPE

  • Start by chopping the butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds
  • Cut into small 1cm cubes and remove the skin.
  • Place the pieces in the Babycook steamer basket with a teaspoon of butter for creaminess.
  • Put water in tank, level 1 and start cooking.
  • Set aside the cooking juice.
  • Pour the content of the basket into the blending bowl.
  • Add a part of the cooking juice depending of the desired texture.
  • Blend the bowl content.
  • Allow to cool down and then serve.
